The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub

When it comes to hair care I have lived a pretty sheltered life. I have spent a lot of money on skincare, makeup and body products but my hair always got neglected until recent months. For the past while I have been testing out The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub and it really surprised me.

To be perfectly honest I didn't even know you could get a scrub for your hair and scalp. I didn't even think I needed one until I used this one and saw the difference it makes to my hair. So the first thing we have to discuss is the smell... OH DEAR GOD lads it smells divine and that is even a massive understatement. It is so uplifting and so fresh that I wish my bathroom permanently smelt like it. I have often wished before that I could offer some kind of smell-o-vision through my blog but I have never wanted that more than now. It really is that good!!

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Cleansing Hair Scrub is a new, nature inspired approach to haircare. It blends Japanese green tea, mint menthol, salt crystals and Community Trade honey from Ethiopia. For best results you need to first give the product a good stir. Next you need to mix roughly a teaspoon of the scrub with some warm water in the palm of your hands. Finally, you need to massage it into the scalp and rinse. A major concern of mine was how well would the scrub rinse and would it leave a residue and I am happy to report that it rinses out quite easily and leaves your hair deeply cleansed and silky smooth. I almost always have this really annoying build up on my hair especially near the roots and nothing has ever cleansed it as much as this.

I also have The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Refreshingly Purifying Shampoo but I am going to hold off reviewing that until I pick up the conditioner to go with it. I might have to get the body scrub and body butter aswell, just you know for research purposes? You can find your nearest Body Shop store here
