LUSH Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask

So when I hear or think of LUSH I think of bath bombs, shower jellys and that kinda thing. I never really associated it with actual skincare products to treat your skin. I went into the LUSH store on Grafton street recently to pick up some bath bombs for my little man and ended up leaving with a face mask.

So a staff memeber came over and helped us and she was so soooo friendly and helpful. First she used a coffee type scrub on me and while I liked it I wanted something with a lighter, fresher scent rather than the deep smell of coffee. Because I had a bad breakout the girl suggested their Cosmetic Warrior Fresh Face Mask. She refused to acknowledge that I had spots because she was so polite but they were there and they were bad. I was legit considering getting a post code organised for one of them.

So incase anyone isn't aware all the LUSH Cosmetics products are fresh and handmade. They even have little stickers on them to tell you which staff member made it and when. The LUSH Cosmetic Warrior contains antiseptic ingredients like tea tree essential oil and garlic. It also contains deep cleansing ingredients like kaolin (which I am obsessed with) and antibacterial honey. The aim of the LUSH Cosmetics Warrior mask is to combat spots and troubled skin. It can also be used to reduce and banish breakouts. Now I know what you are thinking and no you won't smell of garlic. I was a bit like whaaaat when they girl told me it had garlic in it but she reassured me that it was a powerful but natural antiseptic.

Speaking of the smell of the product I didn't love it but I didn't dislike it either. It certainly would not stop me from using it or purchasing it again. It also has free range eggs in it because the vitamin A in the free range eggs will help to maintain healthy skin by regulating natural sebum production. Because the ingedients are so fresh the LUSH Cosmetics Warrior face mask needs to be stored in the fridge which really adds to it to be honest. The cooling feeling it gives is so good I can't even think of a word to do it justice.

So as far as value for money goes this is a fantastic purchase. When we left the store I couldn't help but notice how small the pot was. Maybe it needs to be small to keep the ingredients fresh? Anyway there was no cause for concern because I have used it six or seven times and I still have more than half of it left. I can't confirm how many full faces I have done with it because I applied it in a few different ways. Some nights I lashed it on all over and other nights I applied a thin layer all over but added a little more where I had spots. The girl who helped me also recommended applying a serum underneath the mask to prevent it drying out the skin.

Prior to using the LUSH Cosmetics cosmetics warrior face mask I had a huge breakout on my chin and a smaller one to the side of my nose. I didn't take before pictures because being completely honest I didn't expect it to work as well as it did. I am kicking myself over it because my skin has improved so much since I started using it. It has cleared up and is now more glowy and dewy rather than oily.

I can now confirm that I am a massive LUSH Cosmetics fan and I cannot wait to visit the store again. I will be more nervous for my bank account this time round though. Oh I also want to mention that if you bring back five clean full size LUSH pots or tubes you can get one free fresh face mask.

What are you favourite LUSH Cosmetics products?
