REVIEW | KIEHL's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner.

The Kiehl's Calendula Herbal-Extract Toner has been available since the late 60's... like the late sixties? For something to stick around that long it must be good, right?

I have been using this product twice daily since last October and I have completely fallen in love with it. Since introducing it to my skincare routine the usual redness of my skin has dramatically reduced and it is much less oily than it was previously.

I actually love toners. I just love the feeling of thoroughly cleansing your skin after a long day. Like cleansers are great but there is nothing quite like using your toner to get rid of excess cleanser and that small amount of stubborn makeup that is almost always left behind. A good toner will also restore your skin's PH balance, refresh the skin and also prepare it for the next steps eg. serum, moisturiser etc. 

So what makes this one so special?

Well for starters Kiehl's hand insert the Calendula petals into every single bottle. Calendula is often used to treat acne, dermatitis and dry skin. It is also rich in antioxidants to fight off free radicals which cause premature aging. 

A 250ml bottle of Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Toner will cost you €40.50 but it is honestly so sooo worth it. Mine is running dangerously low so I will be repurchasing it as soon as possible.
