REVIEW | Flormar Full Coverage Foundation

I have been so looking forward to writing this post on the Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation because I have been LOVING it.
I bought it on the recommendation of Kate from Pure Irish Sugar Blog and I am so glad I did. I have been asked lots over the last fortnight or so about my foundation on my social media and people who see me everyday have commented on how much better my skin looks. The best way I could describe it on short terms is that it is like airbrush in a bottle.

So I have oily skin, particularly on my t-zone. Some days it is worse than others but the oilyness and the over the top shine really can be a hindrance. In the name of research I tested the Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation with various primers, powders and setting sprays in order to find out which combination gave me the best and most long lasting results.

So I begin by cleanse, toning and moisturising my skin. After a few minutes I apply my Catrice Prime & Fine Smoothing Refiner and my Flormar Perfect Coverage foundation. For a bit of extra longevity I use my holy grail setting powder, the Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder and finally I spritz my skin with the fab Makeup Revolution Pro Fix Fixing Spray. Now I appreciate that seems like a lot of products but it will ensure your makeup stays flawless and shine free all day long.

I think my before and after images speak for themselves!!
*both photos were taken in the same spot at the same time of day.
The shade I have been wearing is 102 and I find is definitely has warm and yellow undertones meaning it would suit someone with a golden skintone. The easiest way of knowing if you need a yellow undertone is by looking at the veins on your wrist. If the veins show up a dark green shade then you need a foundation with yellow undertones. In the near future I plan on picking up the shade 101 for my rare no fake tan days. I am so obsessed with this foundation that I need to always have it.

Just on a side note I recently had a chat with Dublin makeup artist Cindy O'Meara from Pose N Pout about the Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation and she couldn't praise it enough. Cindy is in the industry twenty five years and counting although you would never think that by looking at her!! I have been in her salon loads and she has done my makeup quite a few times. She uses the best of the best but she also finds bargains in affordable lines (like the Flormar Perfect Coverage Foundation) that is amazing and also uses many luxe products if she praises it, it's gospel!!

It's also worth mentioning that Cindy has quite dry skin but the foundation still looks amazing on her. It doesn't cling to dry areas or make her base look patchy like some foundations can do. So, if you as a reader are thinking "Oh well I have dry skin and not oily like Melissa" well on the advice of Cindy I would give it a go for sure. For €10.99 you can't really go wrong!
