Displaying FB_IMG_1446476821968.jpg

What is it? A limited edition eyeshadow palette from Urban Decay containing 20 never seen before shades.

Where can I buy it? Debenhams Department Stores, www.debenhams.ie and House of Fraser, Dundrum Town Centre.

How much is it? RRP €49.00

So the latest palette to join the Urban Decay family is the long awaited Vice4 palette and I am happy to report it does not disappoint. I think it is fair to say that there is something for everyone in this palette. My first impression of the Vice4 palette besides the incredible colour selection is how impressive the packing is. Vice4 comes in a slim and durable case topped with a dimensional web of broken down facets all layered on top of a matte black lid. The whole palette is inspired by an oil slick and the rich, metallic colours it contains. Another thing I love is the dual ended eyeshadow brush and the coordinating bag is comes with. I love using this to store my makeup brushes and my favourite Urban Decay lipsticks.

Check out those swatches...
When it comes to eyeshadow and eyeshadow palettes I have to admit that colour is not something I jump at. As soon as I opened the Vice4 palette I was drawn to 'Bitter' which is a rich brown matte and 'Delete' which is a deep chestnut brown but I was determined to experiment with the brighter and more vibrant shades. After a few weeks of using this palette I am happy to report back saying that the Vice4 has completely changed my outlook on what colours look good on my eyes. It has encouraged me to be brave and adventurous with my eye makeup.

Base colour: Framed
Crease: Bitter
Eyelid: Underhand
Undereye: Bitter
Tearduct: Flame
Each eyeshadow in the Vice4 palette features Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion System. In simple terms this means that each eyeshadow has a carrier agent that makes them even butterier, more pigmented and longer lasting. Seriously though, the pigment and colour pay off of these eyeshadows is unbelievable. There is minimal fallout especially when you use the shadows with the Urban Decay primer potion and they really blend like a dream!!

Base: Bones
Crease: Fast-Ball
Eyelid: 1986 (a small amount blended lots)
Undereye: Fast-Ball

As I said above creating colourful or strong eye makeup was never a forte of mine until the Urban Decay Vice4 came into my makeup life. I now feel so confident reaching for it now and would urge anyone whether they are at beginner or a more advanced level to give it a go!! The most difficult part of my morning is deciding which shade or which combination of shades to go for.
