Brand Spotlight | The Vintage Cosmetics Company

What is it? A 1950's inspired cosmetic company.

Where can I buy it? www.vintagecosmeticscompany.com

I can honestly say hand on heart that The Vintage Cosmetics Company is the girliest products that have ever come through my letter box. The packaging is super cute. It is very shabby chic and almost reminds me of Cath Kidston.

As you can see above the parcel contained eyelashes, an eyelash curler and a concealer brush so a nice little variety of products.

Me being eyelash obsessed I just had to use these first. I was sent The Vintage Cosmetics Company ''Betty'' lashes which are perfect for hooded eyes or if you love a winged eyeliner. They are quite natural looking but give a gorgeous, dramatic longer look towards the outer corners. This helps to elongate the eye and create an almond shape. I like them because they really open up my eyes and they are suitable for both day and night time wear.

I am wearing the Rimmel London Provocalips in ''Little Minx'' here.
I reused these lashes atleast ten times and they looked great each time. In order to make them last I don't apply a lot of mascara to them and I gently remove the adhesive after each use.

The Vintage Cosmetics concealer brush is simply a must have. It is the perfect size and shape for cleaning up a bold lip line or for perfecting a winged eyeliner. The things I use it most for is highlighting my brow bone with a cream concealer and for applying a concealer to my cupid's bow to make my lips look bigger.

Last but not least I trialed The Vintage Cosmetics Company eyelash curler. I am a little bit ashamed to admit it but before this curler arrived I never really bothered to curl my eyelashes. Like I would do it for an occasion but not everyday. This one was to pretty not to use. The rose gold looked amazing.

It is no secret that I am a false eyelash addict but that is for work, events, nights out etc. If I am looking after Jake or just doing some errands I usually only wear mascara on my natural lashes. To be honest I feel bare without my falsies but the eyelash curler dramatically improves how full and long my lashes look.

In order to curl your lashes all you need to do is position the curler midway along your lashes with your lashes between the clamps, close and hold. Hold this in place for a few seconds and then gently release the clamps and you will have beautiful curly lashes.

For an even more dramatic effect you could gently heat the curler using a low setting on your hairdryer. You want the curlers to be warm but not hot. Just follow the steps above and apply mascara to finish. Simples!!

You can purchase The Vintage Cosmetics Company eyelash curlers right HERE.

I am 100% going to put in an order for more of The Vintage Cosmetics Company eyelashes. Considering the price the quality of the eyelashes is amazing and I get great use out of them. I might pick up another one or two brushes also so keep an eye out on my social media sites for them.

Not only is delivery in Europe FREE but at moment you can get 25% off your order by entering ''SAVE25'' into the coupon section of the checkout process.
