Red Earth Mullingar Review

So today I found a little piece of heaven when my sister, my friend and I visited Red Earth in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. I don't usually do blog posts on venues or restaurants but this place is amazing!
When I walked in the door I honestly didn't know where to go first because everywhere was either pink or floral or looked delicious!!!! My sister and I had a browse around
and found some amazing stuff. They retail so many amazing products right across the board such as interiors, childrenswear, jewellery, fashion, beauty, lifestyle and much more. My boyfriend and I are due to move from our apartment to a house soon and I have made a list of this I need to have from Red Earth!

They really cover everything. I will be coming to Red Earth for every occasion from now on. They have a present and a gift card for everything!!! Weddings, new baby, mothers day, fathers day, new house or even just because you will find a present for every occasion and every person no problem. Check out the photos below for just a teaser of what is available in store.
After our fabulous retail experience we headed in for some food. The selection was great. They offer such a wide variety of foods from sandwiches and wraps to stir frys and actual dinners. I had the chicken, bacon and mushroom vol-au-vant and it was sooooo good. The presentation was amazing and the taste was faultless. I didn't actually get a photo of it because, well I couldn't waste the time... I HAD to eat it! My sister and my friend were also really satisfied with what they got. We sat outside today as Mr. Sun made a rare appearance and I felt like I was on holidays in a foreign country. For desert I had a beautiful passion fruit cake. It was the perfect choice for me because it was super light and zesty which I love after a filling meal.

Another huge plus for me was the staff. They were very helpful and courteous. The staff really made it for me. Something I find very off putting is when restaurant staff are all over you. You know the places when you take a sip of water they rush over to refill it...that irritates me. Red Earth have the perfect balance of being attentive and friendly without being overbearing. This contributed to a very relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
Red Earth really is 100% in my books. I've never been anywhere like it. You all need to check it out, you will not regret it. If you would like to have a look at some more photos or get some more information you can check out the Red Earth Facebook or the Red Earth Twitter. (Click on Facebook or Twitter to be instantly connected.)

Let me know if you try it out.

CND Vinylux Review

Hi girls!! Today I am reviewing a relatively new nail varnish, Vinylux, from the renowned brand CND (Creative Nail Design). I have been working with many CND products along with various other companies over the past few years but CND never fail to go above and beyond their call of duty. Without doubt they have some of the very best products on the market.
I don't know about you but I for one still wonder how I lived my life before Shellac, the amazing hybrid nail colour that lasts up to 14 days, holds its high shine, won't chip and dries instantly!!! It was love at first use for me.
One of the things I always heard back from girls was the effort of taking it off and how to take it off properly etc. The procedure is actually very very simple and I know that's easy for me as a nail professional to say but it actually is!! However CND have now taken that dilemma away from you ladies by bringing you Vinylux.
Vinylux is available in atleast 62 shades, all of which are the same colours as Shellac, so if you have any Shellac favourites you can now have it in polish to! I don't really like referring to Vinylux as polish even though that's what it is because I feel it is in a league of it's own. For best application results follow my tips below.

Vinylux Application Technique
1. File your nails into desired shape using a 240 grit file.
2. Buff the surface of your nail really gently to remove surface shine, ridges etc. This will help your polish adhere better and also last longer.
3. Apply one coat of your desired colour. Allow it to dry. Apply second coat and allow it to dry fully.
4. Next up is the Vinylux Weekly Top Coat. Apply this over your second colour layer. You will be amazed at how super shiny it makes the polish look. It will be fully dry in 8-10 minutes!!!

Your new Vinylux manicure will last you up to seven days and even a little longer with the correct application and care. It doesn't require a base coat as it has self adhering properties and can be removed in minutes with regular nail polish remover. The little secret behind it all is the top coat. Rather than cure under a UV (ultra-violet) light like Shellac, Vinylux dries naturally and hardens and strengthens with natural daylight...what could be more fabulous!! Check out the colour chart below and start your ''I WANT'' lists. Vinylux is without doubt the best polish I have ever used.

If you have any more questions about Vinylux or any other CND products I would LOVE to hear from you at or at any of the links to our social media sites below.
